Bernoulli’s Principle

Statement

Bernoulli’s Principle states that for an inviscid flow of a nonconducting fluid, an increase in the speed of the fluid occurs simultaneously with a decrease in static pressure or a decrease in the fluid’s potential energy.

Mathematical Form

Along a streamline: pρ+v22+gz=constant\frac{p}{\rho} + \frac{v^2}{2} + gz = \text{constant}
